📣🐾Male and Female Sportsmanship Award Nominations🐾📣
This award is for a player (domestic or representative) who has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship throughout the basketball year.
The player should show the following qualities to be considered:
• Has a positive attitude.
• Gives their best effort.
• Shakes hands with the other team and the referees.
• Supports teammates by saying “good shot” or “good try.
• Never criticises a teammate for trying.
• Accept calls and doesn’t argue with referees.
• Treats the other team with respect and never teases or bullies.
• Follows the rules of the game.
• Helps another player up who has fallen.
• Takes pride in winning but doesn’t rub it in.
• Accepts a loss without whining or making excuses.
